The State Registration Service of Ukraine is a former central office of executive power that existed from 2011 till 2015.
As a result, all powers related to state registration are being transferred to corresponding offices of territorial Departments of Justice at regional level which are the part of the structure of the Ministry of Justice.
State registration offices of territorial Departments of Justice provide the following services:
- state civil registration;
- state registration of immovable property rights;
- state registration of legal entities and natural persons-entrepreneurs;
- registration (legalization) of non-governmental organizations as well as other associations of citizens, registration of articles of association of funds related to state compulsory social insurance if their registration is required by the law, articles of association of territorial community of Kyiv city and subjects of information activity such as printed mass media, news agencies etc.
What does is actually mean and how will it influence average people and legal entities?
Nothing is significantly changed in general. Addresses of the state registration offices remain the same. The majority of employees and officers retained their positions. The subordination and the name of institutions are the only things that have been changed.
